Slutty Samoas

So, you know the Slutty Brownie recipe that's all over everywhere?  No?  Then you've been missing out.  Do yourself a favor and go to this website first and learn all about the original Slutty Brownie because they are good.  Seriously, ridiculously delicious.

I'll wait.

Okay, so we've become slightly obsessed with these brownies around here.  Even more so, we've become obsessed with making our own varieties:  sugar cookie-thin mint-brownie, sugar cookie-lemon cookie-yellow cake-lemon frosting... you get the idea.

Today, I made Slutty Samoas (you know, like the Girl Scout Cookies), and they may be my new favorite.  They're inspired by Samoas inspired by Slutty Brownies, and here's the recipe:

  • 1 Roll of Sugar Cookie Dough (or, you know, if you're domestic like that you can make your own)
  • 1 Box of Coconut Macaroons
  • 1 Box of Carmel Brownie Mix (see note for Sugar Cookie Dough)
Spread the dough in the bottom of your brownie pan making a crust, top with macaroons, then pour brownie batter over (prepared just like the box says).  Bake like the brownie box says, and voila!  You have baked happiness.

You're welcome.
